How can I become a Personal Trainer?
Personal Trainers require two government accredited qualifications – Certificate III in Fitness and Certificate IV in Fitness. We offer both the qualifications at the Australian College of Sports & Fitness.
When can I start?
You can choose to study from our four campus locations which has four intakes per year:
- Term 1 – January
- Term 2 – April
- Term 3 – July
- Term 4 – October
How long does the program take?
You can complete Certificate III in Fitness and Certificate IV in Fitness in 1.5 years.
How do I apply?
In order to study in Australia, you need to apply for a Student Visa. To obtain a visa, you need to first apply for admission in the Australian College of Sport & Fitness. For more information, click here.
Can I study in any one of the campuses?
Yes, you can choose to study in any one of the campuses in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane. For more information, please contact our Student Advisors.
Does the College offer Course Credit?
The College may offer credit for subjects recently studied in formal education, recognition of prior learning for previous formal training or experience, and mutual recognition for competencies achieved at other Registered Training Organizations.
What medical cover do I need?
International Students studying in Australia must have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) as a condition of a Student Visa. Click here for more information on OSHC.
